February Stamp Camp: Double/Triple Time Stamping

This month's stamp class will be focused on the "triple time stamping" technique.  Being fascinated with the cards created using this technique I had to go in search of a good tutorial and found on here on Angie Leach's blog "Too Cool Stamping".  In order to get started, I CASE'd the card on the left.

In order to create this awesome effect you will need to cut your card stock with the following dimensions:

Whisper White
  • 2" x 3-1/4"
  • 3" x 4-1/4"
  • 4" x 5-1/4"
Card Base & Frames
  • 2-1/4" x 3-1/2"
  • 3-1/4" x 4-1/2"
  • 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" folded in half for card base
Next you will layer the Whisper White card  stock on top of each other.  To keep the layers from slipping, you can use small dab of SNAIL.  I try to de-tacky the SNAIL by rubbing my finger over it several time.

If you want to have a sentiment on the small panel, stamp that first before you start randomly stamping your images across all three layers.

Once your stamping is done, gently pull each layer off and layer on the corresponding frame.  The large panel will be adhered to the card base.  I tend to love dimension, so I pop most everything up with Stampin' Dimensionals

Now you're ready to layer each panel based on size.  Make sure you keep your panels  in the proper direction (make sure they aren't upside down before affixing them to the next layer).

Here is another card I made using only two panels.
