Message Board & Stampin’ Up! Promotions

Today I took a class at a LSS with my friend, Tara (owner of the LSS).  We made this beautiful Message Board with a scrapbook kit.  The more that I worked with it, the more opportunity I saw to re-create using Stampin’ Up! stamps and embellishments.  I had her order me a few of the chipboard cutouts so that I can do just that.  Can’t wait for them to come in!

If all goes well, I’ll host a class of my own.

It's a New Year

Well, 2009 has officially gone and 2010 is upon us.  I rememeber 10 years ago we, as a people, were worried about Y2K and how the end of our world (our comfortable fast paces lifestyles) as we new it would come to a screeching halt because technology was about to give us a good, swift kick in the tail.  Thank goodness that didn't happen!

This year, I'm going to try to be simple in my New Year's Resolutions.  The first one is to stop taking on more than I can handle.  I always tend to not know how to utter the word "NO" and end up with more projects than I care to.  The second resolution is to make healthier choices.  Whether that means to exercise more or eat something better for me than a cheeseburger.  My third resolution is to put more into my Stampin' Up! business.  I miss having time to craft for my own enjoyment as well as teaching others to bring out their crafty side.

A friend of mine started a new blog this year to document his life in photos.  I thought it was a novel concept, so I'm going to see if I can stick with it as well.  If you want to follow along, you can use the link above (2010: A Year in Review), or bookmark the site at http://suzytyler2010.blogspot.com/

Thanks for stopping by!
